SER and SEU are practical, recognizable products, and most electricians can tell you the size and footage left on a reel from across the shop. That makes this one of the faster categories to quote, provided the reel tag or the jacket print is visible and the remaining length is honest.
The material turns up when a service upgrade finishes with more cable than the panel needed, when a builder changes a meter bank layout, or when a distributor is left holding a construction that the local utility no longer specifies. All of it is worth a look, especially in 1/0 through 4/0 where a partial reel is still a meaningful amount of conductor.
Tell us the size, conductor count, metal and footage, and whether the cable is on the original reel. If there are several partial reels, photograph them together with the tags facing the camera so the whole lot can be read at once.

Do you buy SER cable in short lengths?
Short lengths are reviewed but have limited use. A few feet left on a reel is usually not worth a pickup on its own, while a half reel of 4/0 aluminum is a different conversation.
Can I sell SEU and SER in the same request?
Yes. List both with sizes and footage and photograph each reel tag. The lot is quoted line by line.
Is outdoor storage a problem for SER cable?
It can be, because the jacket and the bare ground are exposed. Send photos of the jacket and the end, and note how long it sat outside.
